$20 a knife, less by the handful. Repairs and same-day rushes cost a little more. What we quote is what you pay, no padding, no surprises at pickup.

The handful
1–3 knives
One knife or a handful, each brought back to a clean, lasting edge, kitchen, outdoor, serrated or bread. The edge set cold on a water-cooled belt, finished by hand on a stone and a diamond strop.
The block
Signature4–9 knives
Bring the whole block in one drop-off, and every knife gets the same care, start to finish, nothing rushed.
The collection
10 knives or more
Ten knives or more, sharpened together at our best per-knife rate. Every edge still read and finished by hand.
A few edges,
priced on their own.
Some work sits outside the count, flat-priced, or added once the damage is in hand.

Every edge, the

The count sets the price, not the care. One knife or twenty, a paring blade or a splitting axe, the work begins the same way and holds to the same standard.

takes shape.

Tell us what you’re bringing
A line about the knife, including the maker if you know it, the steel, how it’s being used, and what’s gone wrong. A photo helps. No detail is too small.

We read the steel
Every blade is assessed by hand before a price is set. A chipped tip, a tired bevel, or decades of drawer rust all change the work, and the number with it.
- 03
You approve a fixed quote
You get one clear figure before anything touches a stone. Nothing is sharpened, and nothing is charged, until you’ve said yes.

Drop off at our Midtown Toronto bench by appointment, Monday to Friday, 9am to 9pm, and pick up the next day, sharper than new. Tell us what you’re bringing and when you’d like to drop off, and we’ll confirm a time and a quote.
